CONSULTING

Process Improvement • Training • Board Education

Sometimes you know exactly what the problem is. Sometimes you just know something isn't working.

A backlog keeps growing. A process takes twice as long as it should. Financials aren't getting out on time. Staff members were taught how to complete a task without ever being taught why. Or maybe the work is getting done—but the process depends entirely on one person knowing how to hold everything together.

All Aspects Consulting takes a hands-on look at the people, processes, systems, and information behind the problem to figure out what's working, what's getting in the way, and what can realistically be improved.

The goal isn't change for the sake of change. It's a process that makes sense for the people who actually have to use it.

Backlog & Financial Recovery

Getting caught up is about more than pushing financials out the door. It’s making sure the numbers and the systems that report them are reliable when you get there. It's also identifying everything, small and large, that contributed to the state of things as they are. I help untangle backlogs, research discrepancies and unsupported balances, establish priorities, and create a realistic path from behind to accurate, sustainable monthly reporting.

Workflow & Process Review

A process can technically work and still be making everyone’s job harder than it needs to be. I look at how the work actually moves from one person or system to the next, identify unnecessary steps, bottlenecks and gaps, and help build a process that makes sense for the people who have to use it every day.

Accounting Department Assessment

Sometimes the problem isn’t the people or even the process. It’s how all the pieces are working together. I take a practical look at the department as a whole, from workload and responsibilities to procedures, systems, communication, and financial output, to identify what’s working, what isn’t, and where meaningful improvements can be made.

Custom Procedures
&
Training Materials

A good process shouldn’t live only in the head of the person who knows how to do it. I create customized procedures, reference guides, checklists, worksheets, and training materials that document not only what needs to be done, but the why behind it. Giving your team, board members, and managers practical tools they can actually use long after the training is over.

Board Financial Education

Board members don’t need to become accountants, but they should feel confident understanding the financial health of the association they’ve been elected to oversee. I break financial statements and accounting concepts into plain language, help boards understand how the pieces connect, and teach them what to look for and what questions are worth asking.

Staff Training
&
Development

I believe the best training teaches the why, not just the steps. My goal is to help accounting staff understand how their individual work connects to the financial statements and the association as a whole, so they can recognize when something doesn’t look right, ask better questions, and become more confident in their own judgment.
